OOH!It was on the internet so it must be true, not that I don’t believe that there are parents and children like that out there, afterall I ran fastfood for decades. I just don’t buy the guys fantasy story with the pies, really, 23 pies and there are no more in the place, walk in or freezer? Yeah, fantasy time. But it sure plays well to all of us who have been in a similar situation.

Well considering how some of these outlets are run it wouldn’t amaze me if it took twenty minutes to get the new pies baking/nuked.

I dunno, could be they’re short of pies just until the next delivery.

As a teenager I worked at BK, and I definitely recall being sent to the grocery store across the street for foodstuffs we’d run out of. Generic items like heads of lettuce, mostly.
