Some of the Doors songs were genius.... Others just plain stunk.
Just my opinion.... Don’t anyone blow a gasket over it.
I am an accomplished working musician and singer who plays at least 5 instruments very well.... So at least it’s a qualified opinion.

I would rather listen to the Doors than a majority of classic rock artists.

I agree so I’ll take some of the arrows with you. I still listen to the Doors quite often.

Manzarek, Krieger, and Densmore had an incredibly hypnotic groove.

Jim Morrison was a jackass, but they did a dozen or more classics:
Light My Fire
People Are Strange
Love me Two Times
L.A. Woman
Roadhouse Blues
Riders on the Storm
Love Her Madly
The End
My Eyes have Seen You
Ship of Fools
The Spy
Hyacinth House
Build Me a Woman
Cars Hiss By My Window
And a few others . . .

Is there a band out there that you could not say the same of?
I cannot think of one.
