I didn’t say I was a Republican. I’m a conservative. As long as conservatives have a place in the Rep party. I will vote rep. When they decide social matters don’t matter and make deals with socialists, what part is left for me?

There isn't a place for conservatives in the Republican party — they made that clear pushing Romney, and their actions as well:
- They claim to be for
law and order
, yet they do nothing against the NSA which violates the 4th, 5hh, and [arguably] 6th amendments as SOP. - They claim to be for securing the border, but what state is it in? What state was it in when they has control of the Executive and Legislative?
[Take a look at US Constitution, Article 4, Section 4 if you want to get pissed about these political turds.] - They claim to be for the 2nd Amendment, but when was the last time you ever heard a serious discussion on repealing the GCA or NFA?
- They claim to be against abortion; but what have they really done on that front? The feel-good partial-birth abortion act?
They added a not even in cases of incest and rape
to their platform plank in 2012, even as they pushed Mr. Of-Course-I-Support-the-Right-For-Abortion-in-the-case-of-incest-rape-or-the-mother's-health Romney. - They claim to be for law and order; yet Fast & Furious, the easiest Treason case in eighty years, simply slips by them?
This is ignoring that it's either a conspiracy or a group so incompetent that they literally cannot be trusted w/ any official position. - They claim to be for sensible business policies; yet I see them doing nothing to reduce taxes.
(Note, tax-breaks are not an actual reduction in taxes; they are essentially the government giving you a gift.) - They claim to be for lower taxes; I've heard absolutely jack about going to a uniform flat-rate, no exemptions, no write-offs, no credits, no exceptions system.
In fact, such a system would be absolutely the appropriate way to rein in the corruption in the IRS: by removing all discretion, you make it impossible for them to be a political weapon. - They claim to be for a strong defense; yet they're keeping the front-door unlocked and wide-open?
Seriously, we could secure the border with less than 200 Paladins. - They claim to be for the constitution yet look at all the above; are these the actions of a group that bears any allegiance to the US Constitution?
So, I really got to ask: What does the Republican party have to do to convince you that conservatives aren't welcome?
