Hey, I obey the laws that matter! Like the law of gravity. And the of averages, that’s a good one!
I don’t know what you were saying with that post.
Then there’s the law of unintended consequences. No one believes in that one.
Nicely said
“Reagan gave us one of the most vilest things this country has”
Exactly what are you referring to?
You really think Ross Perot was a libertarian? Perfect example. Anyone you don’t like is automatically a libertarian.
Fool.
So?
This is to be expected, consider the differences between should abortion be legal?
and should the federal government outlaw abortion?
.
The first is very general, and relatively easy to answer no to.
The other is specific, about whether or not the federal government should be involved: according to the tenth amendment the legality of abortion should be the purview of the States as the Federal government has very, very few crimes under the Constitution [Treason and Counterfeiting are the two that spring to mind].
The laws and policies of the federal government have a huge role, for instance abortion and gay marriage, and homosexual policy in regards to the military, federal employment and immigration, etc.
Christianity can do fine, as long as the politicians who are elected don’t go against it, and besides, we want a culture that reflects our God fearing ways.
Never support a social liberal, non God fearing candidate at ANY level of office, because not only will he be pushing left wing social politics, but he might someday reach the Congress, or Senate, or Presidency and be making federal policy.
asset forfeiture laws, just like at the bottom of the post says.
Libertarians: first cousins to modern day Sodom and Gomorrah Democrats.
The libertarian says Gimme drugs, gimme same-sex marriage, gimme abortion, gimme privacy, gimme amoralism.
The libertarian will lie, call itself Republican to run for office, will lie and call itself Patriot to participate in the Tea Party.
If you create a power lever the evil will take control of it.
For some reason you can’t grasp that fact.
No, we want laws against abortion and gay marriage etc., not to pass laws accepting such things like you guys have done in the last 50 years.
For the radical libertarian the real question is “shouldn’t abortion be legal for those who impregnate their little daughters?”
That one is often tied to the law of the jungle.
By whom?
Treason is bandied about on FR like it’s stupid on Sheila Jackson Lee.
I think of all the accusations of treason against Obama on FR, only one comes close and it’s not Benghazi.
More accurately, they will be geared to fit the audience, for instance here, libertarians strive to sound like a bunch of Christian, ultra social conservatives.
To a liberal audience they would do the opposite and concentrate on true social libertarianism.
Gnomes. The little buggars got their fingers in all the pies.
Why do you think abortion is beyond our ability to control it?
Big government. Big Federal Government. You think you can control it. You are a fool.
Create a power level? When did that come up?
The feds have to make law and policy for the military, federal employment, immigration, and other things, they have to have a policy on abortion and marriage and homosexuality etc.
Never support a social liberal, non God fearing candidate at ANY level of office, because not only will he be pushing left wing social politics, but he might someday reach the Congress, or Senate, or Presidency and be making federal policy.
