The ‘evaporation absorbs energy (cooling) and the
formation of rain drops releases energy (heating).
And what happens when the rain drops hit the earth?
Heat creates the transfer from water to vapor...which then rises.
And the cold upper atmosphere causes the vapor to become solid water...and then rain.
