Is NASA on task or not?
Thanks!
Wiki has since deleted most of this.
Sheila Jackson Lee
Member of the U.S. House
of Representatives
from Texas's 18th district
On a visit to the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 2005, Jackson Lee made embarrassing news by asking if the Mars Pathfinder had taken an image of the flag planted there in 1969 by Neil Armstrong.[2]
Prior to the 110th Congress, Jackson Lee served on the House Science Committee and on the Subcommittee that oversees space policy and NASA.

I notice a lack of particle cannon and pocket nukes.
How will we subjugate the red planet without them?
Where’s Sheila Jackson Lee’s compartment?
The seven instruments will conduct unprecedented science and technology investigations on the Red Planet thats aimed or the first time at simultaneously advancing both NASAs unmanned robotic exploration searching for extraterrestrial life and plans for human missions to Mars in the 2030s.The instruments will have the capability to detect low levels of organic molecules that are essential precursors to life.
There is no bigger science rah-rah than myself, but I thought that the Curiosity rover had "instruments with the capability to detect low levels of organic molecules that are essential precursors to life."
Microphone ?
I would like to live long enough to see the first manned mission to Mars. Hopefully the Chinese will share what they find.
Just not quite enough instrumentation to not justify the 20 Billion dollar 2030 lander though i imagine...
