Amongst the homeschooling families and Reformed Christian families (many of which homeschool or send to Reformed Christian schools) music lessons are very common.

I would suggest a little research, if you really want to "scare yourself" with the truth.

Look into the top elite of Hollywood and the New York theatre scene. Trace back through the history of those fields to their beginnings.

You'll find a mix of Wall Street elites, communists, occultists, etc., invariably folks that arrived here from a heavily communist/socialist Europe and Russia.

Invariably people give up on their faith once they get into that industry, as the industry lures them into increasing immorality as they become more successful. You'll find that there's a "filter": you'll never get to be a "superstar" unless you have replaced the Bible as your rule and guide in life with your career. This explains why "stars" seem to be vacuous pawns - they actually are. This is why it's so common to see "stars" campaigning for globalist causes. That's why to this day "the arts" look back to the "glory days" of the Spanish Civil War when Americans went over to fight on the communist side, and Hollywierd and the literary community still glorify the effort.

The same research can be done for the literary world as well, going right back to Europe. You'll find the publishing houses largely owned by members of or close friends to banking families. Same for the artworld. I've done just enough research to be, well, shocked. At least things start to make sense, it's understandable how they are all marching to the same tune, the top leadership is all cut from the same cloth.

You’re just confirming what I already know - conservatives want absolutely nothing to do with the arts. It’s not about becoming some occultist Hollywood commie with roots in the Spanish Civil War (!) - it’s about writing, producing and creating genuinely good plays and movies. There are thousands of theaters all over this country willing to put on good plays with conservative (and crypto-conservative) themes. No one has to put a foot in Hollywood to create movies or plays. I write plays and produce them myself along with my husband. A friend of mine is an established playwright who often writes with religious themes - she gets produced all over the USA, damn her eyes! There is more to the performing arts than NYC and Hollywood - there are other worlds as Mr. Coriolanus once said.

I think there is a certain right-wing conservative who is now producing highly successful documentaries these days. I haven’t seen his movie yet but it’s been playing at my local theater for several weeks now. He actually does have some Hollywood money behind him although he’s not some communistic, Soviet Union loving, black-listed writer circa 1959. Let’s not be simplistic.
