Too many younger people would self emplode if there was an EMP. As it is, a few hours of power outage from a storm freaks them. Then the idea of going outside, oh no, the horror!
Whew, did you happen to see my rant about the nephews earlier in the month? Poor widdle things came for a summer vacation in the country but they were too afraid of the big scary outside to venture out. The preteens refused to learn to ride a bike because it involved the outside. No archery, RC cars, hiking, walking around the very safe neighborhood to see wildlife, going to the park, geocaching, visiting a cave, croquet, fisbee, fishing, grilling fajitas on the back porch, river tubing, putt-putt golf, or a hundred other things because they would have to go.... OUTSIDE!!!!!!!!!! They had to be begged to roast marshmallows. What kid doesn’t like to roast marshmallows? What kid doesn’t know how to ride a bike? What kid won’t go in garage to play with kittens because a garage is too close to fresh air and sunshine? After a few days of this bs and attitude, we ended their vacation and handed off to other unsuspecting relatives.
Yep. Mine aren’t that bad. My oldest is fine, loves being out but, his brother is a vidiot. They sure are different from when I was younger,
By the way, mind if I come over?
Facebook was offline for an hour last Friday, and people were calling 911 to report the "emergency."
