ROFL!!

I know for several years now, Hollywood has been trying to make a live-action adaptation of “Akira”, and they’re still at it. Why is beyond me; “Akira” stands as not only one of the great animated films, but one of the great sci-fi movies as well. I suppose it helps to have some understanding of the deeper nuances of Japanese culture if you’re watching it, but even there, I personally see no reason to re-make it. That’s a waste of money, in my book.

Making they’re thinking dollar-signs like what happened after Hollywood remade a few of the J-Horror films like “Ring” and “Ju-On”.
