Current popular gun boards? (vanity)
Posted on 07/25/2014 10:01:57 AM PDT by ctdonath2
What are the current "hot" gun discussion boards? I've been distracted by politics for a few years, and some of my favored places (SilencerTalk.com, NFATalk.com) have faded as the natural lifecycle of such places tends to. Surely others have popped up. Where to go?

Sparking this is a search for an affordable like-new Mark 4 LR/T 10x40mm (30mm) M3 to match a Remington 700 AAC-SD.

thehighroad.com has always been a top gun board. So is ar15.com.

Was on TheHighRoad.org for a long time, through the...um...”late unpleasantness”. It took a turn for the worse (relatively), but maybe it has come around. Who is running it now?

My only problem with it is they let the liberaltarians bashed Christians and Christianity ad nauseam in their General Discussion forum, but say one negative thing about Islam and you get your pee pee slapped.

I abandoned ship at that time.
Who is running it now?
AFAIK, Derek Zeanah still runs it.

If you’re into podcasts, you might want to check out a few on the Firearms Radio Network. Those shows always mention different web forums that the hosts like to read up on. My personal favorites are We Like Shooting, This Week in Guns and the AR-15 Podcast.

Agree with you about THR....I used to be a frequent visitor until they went kinda sideways. May have to give them another look.

I rather enjoy akfiles.com, but it can be a bit tinfoil hatty at times.

Several places have a tinge of “tinfoil hatty”, even FR. Unfortunately, these days it’s the tinfiol hat types who are often right. While I’ve known since before the 2008 election that Obama is the most evil person in America’s history, I continue to underestimate the depths to which he will go to damage our country. “Even Obama wouldn’t . . .” is usually wrong.
