BTW, the Chicago papers are already describing the shooter as a good kid who appeared to be headed in the right direction (despite being a known gangbanger), who was participating in anti-violence activities, etc.
Personally, I think firing shots at a building with no concern for the consequences is not exactly the work of a good kid.
RIP to the little girl, anyway. Poor thing.

How is it they were able to apprehend this thug when so many of the other shootings go unresolved? Is this an extention of when seconds matter the police are minutes away?
Let me guess...his grandma (or aunt) that he lives with says that he's a good boy, turning his life around, working on his GED (or getting decent grades in school), maybe an aspiring athlete, or rapper?
