Looking at that terrain, all I can say is that Neil Armstrong was one hell of a pilot!

Yep, would have been nasty to have one skid end up on a boulder.
Did not have a TV back then, so I missed it all. Was so estranged from society after just getting back that I was only peripherally aware something was going on.

Us landing on the moon was the coolest thing - I just wish there would have been something cool to find there...like maybe an elephant tusk or an old phaser set on “stun”.
We should go back and paint something on it that you can see with a decent telescope.
