Can't watch the entire thing but to me only two things matter - the KAL was brightly illuminated on the tail of the plane, and the plane was brought down after having already passed over Russian airspace.

The soviets murdered those people.

In 1993 my brother was 9 years old. Somewhere in the archives at my parents’ house is a drawing he had made... in school... that depicted the shooting down of KAL007.

He knew what this was and he was only 9... I only can imagine what 9 year-old boys in public school think of the state of the world. They probably can’t either through psychtropic drugs prescription... or fear of punishment for thinking “wrong” thoughts.
