I flew with my mother-in-law a couple months ago. She is 87. Because she couldn't get her arms totally over her head as is required for the x-ray machine, she had to get wanded and then had quite a thorough pat down. Her shoes were even wiped for traces of drugs.
It was all I could do not to say anything.
Why did you not say anything? I fly a couple of times a year and it never fails that at some point they single me out for something extra. I make sure they know that I think their actions are stupid. And I very much enjoy it. Apparently I am not the only one that does it since they just ignore me.
