First, my observations are certainly subjective, but based on 61 one years of empirical experience. I been fortunate to have traveled and experienced a lot more than most folks and am therefore quite confident in stating my opinions, including my observations of the sharp decline in respect for LEOs. They are earning the disrespect. It also correlates to Fed Gov grants for weapons and equipment to militarize the local police organizations.
Second, I never said Garner was a model citizen. However, it is clear from the video that this entire event could have been handled calmly. The police started it, became unnecessarily aggressive...and then escalated it. Garner was killed for what?...cigarette taxes?; for not getting your vote for man of the year?

No, it is not the cartels I fear, but an out of control Fed Gov and a nationalized militarized police force who will have no compunction about killing your dog, your child, your father, your mother, grandmother etc., for not obeying orders or fitting in to the new socialized paradise. Those not killed will be sent to camps. Should I end up in one at least I will know why I am there. You, however, would have no idea.
