My wife and I witnessed a single light heading from low in the sky from the Austin area and headed NW over our area in Lago Vista about an hour ago. We were sitting outside waiting for the unusually bright moon to come up which was a bust.
I had just gotten outside after my shower after my shift at the local hardware store, sat down and she said "What the hell is that?" pointing to the east. Whatever it was, was a mercury vapor colored light traveling at a high rate of speed and broke into two lights. No sonic boom, just one light that broke into two lights.
Hate to disappoint ya, but that was just what was left of the “super-moon” after barry sotero’s (sp) minions got through taxing and regulating it.
After all, why stop with earth and one-world government - they want the whole universe for ‘the one’.
;^D
You’re probably right. A friend of mine has a phantom quad copter and said that a lot of people put led’s on them that they can turn on and off by remote. They like to team up with others who own them and play tricks on people.
TV channel Fox4 News is saying that the best viewing time for the super-moon is tomorrow morning from 6:00am - 6:30am.
Take some pictures, and post if you get up that early, lol.
I doubt a Quad-Copter could been from Corpus Christi to Texarkana, even if it exploded.
I saw it moving north, two pieces and the larger in front. Probably a meteor that broke in two. I was outside to take a picture of the moon, so I had a video camera, but didn’t attempt to get a photo because it was moving too fast. I just watched it.
I’m about 70 miles south of Dallas.
Illegal “aliens”?
Saw the same thing in Houston near downtown above I-10 around 9 pm. One light no sound then broke into two lights. Low in the sky but headed east to west.
Just GORT and Michael Rennie swingin’ by for another look see...
BTW- Kind of hard to get a good picture of the moon with an IPhone.
I just took that.... the mother ship has arrived.
What flew over Texas may have in fact been a meteor...... but I’ve seen a meteor — and it did NOT look like what is shown in that video.
Could it have been a classified satellite being de-orbited?
I like that. It makes me want to have a cold beer in a dark bar, in the middle of the afternoon on a blazing hot day.
I don’t know. Perhaps one of the FReeper aerospace types could confirm (or deny) that.
It’s too bad the video was such bad quality.
Obviously the quad copter was struck by a meteor...
Don’t meteors have tails or are there some types that don’t?
The Brown Mountain Lights?
Just tryin’ to help...
as per link on #18 - this thing was seen ALL over Texas
that would explain it. lol
