There’s a WHOLE WORLD of music that never made the radio playlists. And the playlists of today are even more restricted (and that goes double for the “forgotten” hits that charted years ago).

To listen to “classic rock” radio of today is to mean that the Beatles never existed, Led Zepplin had only 4 songs, Jimi Hendrix 2 song, etc....

Indeed.

A few months ago, I found “Somebody That I Used to Know” on youtube and fell in love with it, but I have never heard it on radio. I listen to a lot of different music, spanning generations, that would not be available except for youtube.

Also, Pandora radio sometimes surprises me.

I love the new media, they provide so much more variety than radio or TV.
