Pro-Lifer Was Assaulted by Pro-Abortion Feminist, But His Response is Priceless

The pro-life activist who was attacked by a pro-abortion feminist in Columbus, Ohio this week has a priceless reaction to what happened. He forgives her. That is despite the fact that abortion activist Victoria Duran is defending her actions and has no intention of apologizing.

createdequal5Pro-life activist Seth Drayer was physically attacked (video below) while leading a group of pro-life students in sharing the pro-life message in downtown. The video shows a woman in a Burger King shirt attacking the pro-lifers.

She says, ““You’re just a white f—— privileged racist f—— male who doesn’t stand for women’s rights.” The abortion advocate adds, “No uterus, no right to talk about it. Understand, Mother f—–?”

The abortion backer has been identified as Victoria Duran and she is seen on video yelling at the protestors and kicking down their signs. She told a local news station yesterday she doesn’t regret what she did.

But, in a new interview with Fox News, Drayer forgives her anyway.

If she hasn’t asked for forgiveness and truly repented his forgiveness is without value and is in fact decidedly an un-Christian act.

His response was kind of sickening, but she is the real villain.

God may not forgive without repentance, but we always ought to because how less perfect are we? We’re also sinners, and we have to set an example of what it’s like to be forgiven.

Actually, it has great value — nothing infuriates intolerant bigots more than to be forgiven for when they think that they did nothing wrong and that your religion is offensive. She’ll be fuming. And this will be amusing as she loses it.

That's not true. Jesus Christ and St. Stephen (Acts) forgive, and ask the Father's forgiveness on, those who killed them and who did not show the least repentance.

I doesn't mean the person is cleansed of all sin: they can't be cleansed unless they repent. But it does mean the assailant's victim has no desire to obtain revenge, only the sinner's conversion, well-being and redemption.

You can forgive and push back at the same time. She can be prosecuted for her assault, and still be forgiven.

But if you refuse to forgive, you have already given up Christian faith and morals as taught by Jesus Christ Himself. And if you give up on the precepts and example of Jesus, what do you have left? The other side --- the side of Evil --- has accomplished what they wanted: your eternal woe.

Definitely no Biblical scholar here, but I've seen it argued that ignorance of the law or a misguided belief that one is doing the right thing should not be held against you, while overt malice is another thing entirely.

That said, his gesture was noble & an act of turning the other cheek, whether it ultimately has saving value or not…

Yes, I noticed her saying "it doesn't look like that at that age!! It's just tissue!!" Believed the lies because she needed to, I guess. One needs only google for ultrasound pictures. I have an ultrasound of a grandchild at only TEN weeks gestation. Head, arm, fingers, leg, toes, all clearly visible. Clearly human. Definitely not a "clump of cells" or "mass of tissue."

If she ever wakes up, she could be a pro-life witness to the lies of the abortionists.
