My point is not that we should not fight, but that we should lie low until we take the Senate in Nov and then fight with all our might.

If we make impeachment an issue in the Nov election, it will only help to get out the Dim vote.

I want to see the SOB removed from office, not merely "indicted" by the House.

As you probably know, to remove him office the Senate must vote 2/3 in favor of such. That's why the Nov election is so important.

I completely agree. Impeachment is a political action/remedy. It needs to be treated like any other political action/remedy.

We’re going to have a really great issue to nationalize the elections on this fall: the continuing failure of Obamacare. With the big projected jumps in premiums front and center.

We may have a pretty good secondary issue as well: the border crisis. Especially how Obama is starting to distribute the illegal “kiddos” (including a fair number of cartel/gang youths) out to the states. Seeing MS13 members being “placed” into their communities is going to tick a LOT of people off.

There are other issues as well. Continuing failing economy, which will probably be formallt identified as being in undeniable recession when the Q3 numbers hit in early October.

Impeachment right now is just noise. It’s a distraction. It’ll mobilize the Dem base as much as ours, and piss off the general public that really could care less but would be receptive to a campaign based on Obamacare, the economy and other pocketbook issues.

Rooster, we both know that “the SOB” will not be removed from office. Period.

Any thoughts of winning the necessary 23 majority in November (more like 70+ seats to cover Collins, Snowe, McCain and a few others) represent fantasy bordering on insanity.

This is not about removing Obama from office. This is about congress standing up to The Imperial President and saying, “WE are the representatives of the American people and you WILL NOT usurp that power.”
