The Fair Tax is the way to go. The fact that illegal aliens would NOT get the monthly prebate check would make life here unaffordable.

Most states are already collecting some type of tax so the means of collection is already established, and what remains after state needs are met, is the minimal amount left over to be sent to Washington for Constitutionally mandated spending.
