Seriously though, thanks for the added information. Might have to actually read it then to see why Mr. Gonzalez didn’t just say that. And perhaps he did, and she’s lying about everything.
That part about the letter of recommendation was confusing. Almost made it sound like the girl did not send it, that it was sent by a professor that she didn’t know?
And the girl said her mother is Hispanic, so obviously she has Hispanic blood and heritage. Although the club may have rules that both parents are, etc.
Falsifying a letter or recommendation sounds like it is a very good reason to deny a scholarship. But then why say it was about the drinks or religion? This guy Michael Gonzalez may be a total cad. Anyway, this article is poorly written, which makes it hard to tell what is going on.
