She probably shouldn’t have been dating such a freak in the first place, why do so many women have such bad bad bad taste in guys?? Many women are not interested in "nice guys". They find "nice guys" boring and weak. "Bad boys" are more exciting to them.
The job of fathers in earlier days was to ensure that exciting bad boys didn't get within 300 yards of their daughters.

The ones that did not like bad guys, said they had no idea why other women wanted them. The ones that did like bad guys, pretty much said exactly what you just said.
