Trooper filmed 'brutally beating woman on side of California hwy (For Her "Protection")

A California trooper has been filmed brutally beating a woman on the side of a highway - but authorities claimed he simply stopped her for her own safety.

A passing motorist recorded the unidentified California Highway Patrol officer as he punched the woman at least 11 times in the head along the 10 Freeway in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

On the video uploaded to YouTube, the woman can be seen trying to protect herself by putting up her hands but she does not appear to resist the trooper.

'The most animalistic, most brutal way to subdue someone is to pound someone's head into the concrete with really big blows to the head,' witness David Diaz told ABC7

Oh how stupid of everyone who watched the video, obviously the cop used feathers and the closed fist into the face fifteen times was made of soft latex foam.

Taken to hospital for evaluation.
Translation: we will only hear the injury list if daily mail.UK gets a hold of it.

In a crazy world, it's crazy to be sane. I don't have any ax to grind in a case like this. I just watched the video. Didn't you see my synopsis? Do you have a synopsis? Those first four punches didn't land, for one thing, and why did it take so long for him to get started? I say he was trying and failing to cuff her, a thing which you, rather incredibly, claim you could have done with ease.

Then within the next 10 seconds, he did land three punches, then rolled her over and cuffed her, within 20 seconds of getting her on the ground.

Here's the great big brute of a cop tackling the little tiny lady ...

To me, he looks overmatched.

Well, it looked like the first of a flurry of three, just before she seemed to give up, caught her right jaw ... but yeah, he was very far from pounding her face with punches.

I count this as the 5th punch out of 7 in all. The first of a flurry of 3 which apparently ended her resistance. The cop was obviously the Ninja in this scenario - the one with training and experience. That was at 0:34 of the video. He had her cuffed at 0:40

Disagree! He was following doctrine all the way. The reason for taking her down is immaterial. That was the objective, and he pursued it by the book, including the punches, which immediately ceased once he obtained compliance.
