A California trooper has been filmed brutally beating a woman on the side of a highway - but authorities claimed he simply stopped her for her own safety.
A passing motorist recorded the unidentified California Highway Patrol officer as he punched the woman at least 11 times in the head along the 10 Freeway in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
On the video uploaded to YouTube, the woman can be seen trying to protect herself by putting up her hands but she does not appear to resist the trooper.
'The most animalistic, most brutal way to subdue someone is to pound someone's head into the concrete with really big blows to the head,' witness David Diaz told ABC7

I'm not at the roof-top solution (not that I'd be using MY rooftop anyway) yet.
I've spent years, and lots of shoeleather, trying to make a political change, and I have helped, here near me.
I'll keep working that angle until I can't.

I'm not big on french stuff.

Rooftops are a metaphor and I won't be using mine. Please do remember that I fear that solution. It's never pretty.
Well put, and agreed to in most respects.
Unfortunately for all of us who prefer the rule of law; we have a rather large proportion of lawmakers and law enforcers who appear to believe, that the laws as written, only apply to those citizens who are not in government or law enforcement.
I do not approve of mob rule in most instances, but a case could be made that the men at Concorde and Lexington were nothing more than a mob.
I fear the time is approaching all to soon in our country, when we will be faced with the same choices those gentlemen faced so long ago.

Ok. I should have been dead in Dec 2009. Everything after is gravy. I got a zipper. ;)

Do you chose to separate from federal, state, and local governments? And to establish new governments that seem more likely to bring you happiness and safety?

Dude, you know what the First Rule of Fight Club is...
I've had the privilege to (my last enlistment, because of crappy hearing) serve as TSgt, USAF Combat Services, which includes, happily, food service (and mortuary service, and laundry, and all the other stuff the pointy tip of the spear needs).
I've fed airmen, Marines, seaman, and soldiers in Air Force dining halls and deployed Army DFACs.
I'm good at cooking for 1500 of my newest best friends. And being AF, I can offer a choice at breakfast and more than one entree for lunch and supper.

Too much for redneck.
We can tell nothing from a snippet of video.
He definitely saved lives.
Which is it?
They just showed this video on the CBS Evening News.
As to the meat of your post, the tyranny that has arisen will brook no separation, nor even talk of separation.
Look at what happened to the Tea Party.
"Nice little political movement ya got there. Be a shame if something happened to it..."
Free Republic had its turn in the barrel, back when we were a more potent political force.
Things just start "happening".

Some of us keep mouthing off.
And changes are happening, whether the tyranny wants them or not. They will keep happening.

ifinnegan quoted you.
And they were trying to justify the beating this woman got.
I included you in the ping as you were the one he quoted in post 46 in his attempt to continue justifying it.
