My parents are American, they weren’t born here, they had to wait, fill out uncounted forms, have a sponsor, swear not to ask for anything from the American government for five years and convince a judge to allow them to immigrate. Once here they worked hard to build a life, and become part of the greatest country on earth and instill that pride and desire in their children. No my parents weren’t born here, but I have found them to be more American than the countless wankers I have met that were born here and have no understanding of what it is to be part of the greatest nation on earth.
