I added a small policy on each kid, thru the employer, at birth as part of enrolling them in healthcare coverage and all the rest. A burial cost policy basically.
But why and when they bought this policy will certainly be of interest at trial. I suspect strongly they were both in on this. And it is clearly capital murder.
“And it is clearly capital murder.” The shooter from last month at Seattle Pacific University is claiming insanity. Although he had made at least two guided tours of the campus the weeks before, pretending to be interested in attending.
The one gal showing him around remembered him showing some surprise when she said school was almost over. And he was asking about the building where he did the shooting if that would still be open with classes going on, etc.
So obviously premeditated. Although to me, anyone that would shoot a bunch of innocent people, or kill their own child is insane.
