malwarebytes
hitmanpro
combofix
roguekiller
I’ve used all of these and they all work at removing malware....with Malwarebytes being the best.
malwarebytes.org
I agree. I rely on Malwarebytes. They stay ahead of trouble.
So I have to be the punk this time. It’s my turn!
LINUX
There, I said it!
>> please help
OK.
1) Stay away from those pr0n sites
2) Stop downloading “free” utilities and toolbars and crap like that
3) Don’t reflexively open every attachment some bozo emails to you, even if that bozo is your “friend”
4) *Buy* your music, movies, books, etc
5) Uninstall Java. Period.
What’s malware?

Yes, MalwareBytes should do it but in order to run it, you may need to restart in Safe Mode w/ Networking, and run a utility called “RKill” first, to stop any running processes that manage to load.
Also, I would recommend running Sophos Anti-Rootkit as well to make sure you don’t just get reinfected.
Finally, with these types of infections, even after the malware is gone, your internet settings will probably still be screwed up. You may need to run these commands from the command prompt (Start Menu > Run > cmd.exe):
netsh winsock reset (then press enter)
and:
netsh int ip reset (press enter again)
After that, you need to restart the computer.
Also, make sure to check your browser settings under proxy settings and delete any proxy server that is set up there.
Yes I use Malwarebytes and its very good. I have never had any problems.
Download.com’s installer will also try to trick you into installing adware now, so I wouldn’t recommend them anymore.
Moved back to spybot after malwarebytes couldn’t remove conduit search.
Are you sure you’re logged in?
Malwarebytes.
Safe mode!!! Install in regular mode then Run malware bytes in safe mode
What about midget-pr0n? I heard that it was safe.

“Moved back to spybot after malwarebytes couldnt remove conduit search.”
I despise that blanking search! I see it on friends computers , they are oblivious to it. I nuked it off of mine but forget how. You usually find instructions on internet for removing malware even the well entrenched kind
