The boomers did produce 9.4 million veterans and volunteered for their wars from Vietnam through Afghanistan, they were not draftees like WWII.

Many of the men who fought in Viet Nam, or who served in the military elsewhere during the 1960s and early 1970s, were drafted.

Many of the men who fought WWII volunteered.

Now ... EVERY Soldier, Sailor, Airman or Marine who joined in the 1980s up to the present day, is a 100% volunteer, several times over.
