Did they not give him oral antibiotic prescription?

Sorry, failed to mention that. He got a shot of steroids, a prescription for steroids and cephalexin (antibiotic). I will have to see if we have calamine and get that on the rash on his feet. If not, will alcohol work to dry it out?

Would not use alcohol. You want a cream which covers and dries the skin. Alcohol could actually spread the toxin. Make a paste of baking soda and water and apply if you can’t find calamine.

Just now read this about the steroids. That should take care of the rash pretty quickly.
