Soccer caqn never be as boring as baseball or ‘football’.
At least a boring soccer game is over in 90m. A boring rugby match in 80.
Baseball and football take 3-4 hrs. And its our sports that are boring?.
To paraphrase the American Black idiom. ‘Its a black thing...’
“It’s an American thing...you wouldn’t understand” it’s a rugged individual thing, like packing a weapon and knowing how to use it... or playing NFL style football in a war like fashion(like rugby only with a more ridgid structure...btw I like rugby). Or Major League Baseball (thanks to the Brits for rounders and cricket) where there is a team, but it is the individual who can really shine.
We also say ‘counter-clockwise’. Spell ‘color ‘ without a ‘U’. And when we’re sick we go to ‘THE ‘ hospital.
