The Democratic Party and mainstream media both bet big on Barack Obama in 2008, and doubled down in 2012. Both institutions wagered that his policies and his purported skills and abilities would benefit America. Now, with scandal and disaster breaking on nearly every front, those bets are coming back to haunt them.
Joseph Curl, writing in the Washington Times, speaks of President Obamas terminal velocity, with the economy in free fall, ObamaCare being a contributing if not driving factor, and the GOP nominating candidates who can win, and the president looking detached with his compulsive golf habit. He posits that other Democrats find themselves in a no-win situation:
Democrats will have nowhere to run. If they flee the president, theyll look weak, defensive and guilty. If they back his failed policies, theyll look even worse. Republicans never cease to amaze at their ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, but even top Democrats are now predicting a bloodbath for the party on Nov. 4.

I am afraid we have become a nation with a majority idiots so Obama stands to reason

I think you underestimate the Democrat party.
They’re completely shameless and will do and say anything to win.
They live in a world were the ends justify any means.
Well, isn't this what communists do, as a matter of course?
Isn't it ironic, these rat bast---- talk about the greater good, when rat politicians slink around enriching themselves. Look at Gore and the Clintons. I don't begrudge anyone making money, I just object to their dishonesty in making it. Gore is making millions, by lying out his rear on global warming. They will lie every chance they get. Why tell the truth, when a lie will do?
The CEO of Murray Energy called Obama and the senate democrats “evil” on Cavuto today. He said electricity costs will double by 2017. I predict millions of people will be without electricity by then.
I don’t understand why coal companies, energy companies, large corporations don’t “just say no” to Obama. Simply announce they don’t believe he is qualified to hold the office therefore all of his rulings are null and void. If they don’t do something, they’ll all go under.
Re: “I tend to believe that 2014 will be a bigger tsunami than 2010 was for Republicans.”
Sorry, all the polls suggest that’s incorrect.
Only South Dakota, Montana, and West Virginia look like sure Senate pick ups for the GOP.
We need 3 more pick ups to get a Senate majority.
Think about it.
After months and months of Democrat scandals and bad economic news, Republicans are essentially tied with Democrats in 9 out of 12 “Senate Battleground States.”
Plus, in three other states, Kentucky, Georgia, and Mississippi, we face a real danger of LOSING a Republican seat.
Here’s a link to the most recent polling:

Barack the Kenyan’s smidgens are coming home to roost.
From what I’ve seen, these energy big wigs and energy workers (coal miners specifically) all voted Obama.
. . .and THAT assumes we keep Kentucky and Mississippi.
NOT a given, especially Mississippi. . . . If Cochran keeps the nomination, I can see a LOT of Tea Partiers not voting in the Senate Race.
Besides, whenever given a choice between a Real Democrat and a Faux Democrat, the voters always go for the “real” one. . .
Its not just democrats, look at Mississippi, you dont think the Republicans are equally corrupt?
No real patriots would stand for whats happening,do you think the country can survive 2more years of this?
5 dollar a gallon gas? 6 dollar a gallon heating oil?
Record number of people unemployed,on foodstamps, disability, working partime and needing fulltime and all costs of living about to skyrocket even more,we are being set up for a catastrophic event that will lead to martial law, then Obama takes control, real control,no internet,no free press, life as we have known it,over.
This crap does not happen in a vacumn, our enemies are licking their chops
Georgia - now a Republican seat - looks like the most endangered at the moment.
The Democrat nominee for Senate is Sam Nunn’s daughter, so she starts with great name recognition.
Sam Nunn, her father, is a well respected, well known, former 4 term Senator who was strong on Defense spending, and was widely perceived as a “moderate” on most other issues.
The Republican who is expected to win the primary is Congressman Jack Kingston.
Kingston(R) is behind Nunn(D) by 1.7%.
Very clever. I love it.
