It is liberalism/communism to think software is not a business and should be free.

What's really funny is CodeToad has it totally bassackward.

Software is a product--subject tot he whims and desires/needs of its creator!!. If the creator thinks it should be free, then it should be free.

To think all software should not be free is just Big Government telling us what is best for us. THAT is liberalism/communism.

True. About the same as when a writer decides to write a free article or book and not demand payment for it. For instance; have you ever heard of the Baen Free Library? Some well-known authors have already contributed to it and I think both Baen Books and the several participating authors should be congratulated for it.
