Notes: While teams in all three NASCAR series in action at Kentucky this week will run the same right-side tire code (D-4440), teams in the Sprint Cup Series will run a slightly different left-side code (D-4556) than those in the Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series . . . this is the same combination of left- and right-side tires that Sprint Cup teams have run at Kentucky since 2012 . . . these teams have also run this same tire set-up at Dover over that same period of time . . . Goodyear held a test at Kentucky on May 20-21 . . . .Sprint Cup teams and drivers participating in that test were the No. 1 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet with Jamie McMurray, No. 2 Penske Racing Ford with Brad Keselowski and No. 55 Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota with Brian Vickers . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners in all four tire positions at Kentucky . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
