Political Correctness is based on the assumption that the worst transgression one can possibly commit is to hurt someone else’s feelings. And if the hurtee is a member of a protected group, then it’s a crime worthy of a complete ostracism of the offender.

All of which is complete BS. As kid, the “sticks and stones may break my bones...” saying was often brought into play by my mom, and it desperately needs to be resuscitated.

PC gives complete license to say anything mean or hurtful to selected groups or the elite, and clobbers those who are not in favor. Meaning anyone not on the left.

It’s time to fight back.

So true. PC is in fact the polar opposite of free speech.

Jefferson's America:
Offended person: You have hurt my feelings.
Speaker: So what?

Obama's America:
Offended person: You have hurt my feelings.
Speaker: I'm so very sorry. It won't happen again. Please don't sue me.
