Many men avoid marriage because society has caused it to be legally and financially unwise.
Most modern women aren’t worth the risk.
(For the record I am happily married for 35 years, but would caution most young men to be very wary.)
If society has “caused it to be legally and financially ‘unwise’”, then “society” as manipulated by the left is following Marx’s playbook. “Modern” men and women are products of their ideology in practice.
