Which Women Make Better Wives - Low IQ or High IQ Women?

Posted on 06/20/2014 7:38:55 AM PDT by pinochet

I know that this topic is very controversial. Conservatives have always complained about radical feminism, and such radical feminists are over-represented among women with graduate degrees.

Are women without college degrees better than women with graduate degrees, when it comes to fulfilling the job of wife and mother?

Actually, my sisters-in-law knew that my brothers were loyal, and good providers and cared for children. But as they are also opinionated, bossy, flatulent and overweight, they have not always been easy to live with. Good thing everybody has a sense of humor. No divorces at all.

All I am saying is that Obama is probably not quite average intelligence. Slightly less than average. Make of that what you will. [And who is putting out that nonsense about him having 145 IQ? Valerie Jarrett?]

What would bring them to “family court” in the first place?

It takes two to tango, after all. There was a letch involved that broke up the marriage; it’s not all “money problems”.

Maybe your wonderful daughter will meet someone at work. They will have a long time to get acquainted and know each other as colleagues. Or maybe she will find a shy guy, like my dear husband, who really only started dating in his late 20s. She may need introductions from friends who really know who would be a good fit for her.

“Obama reportedly has an IQ of 145”

That is just one more lie spread by the MSM.

Ask yourself this:

If Obama was really that intelligently would he be unable to speak coherently without a teleprompter?

Intimidated? No, not a bit.

HOWEVER. Fast-track career success in a man is salient to women. Fast-track career success in a woman is not salient to men.

We don’t hate it, we don’t fear it, we don’t even dislike it. We just don’t care about it.

Since women DO care about it, they experience men not caring about it as strange or hostile. It isn’t. It just doesn’t matter to us, one way or the other.

Equal IQs worked for me in the attraction phase; though we were intelligent about different things, we shared a certain spark. However, I think commonality of interests is important in longterm relationships — business, friendships, and marriages. Of course, interests can be developed. i.e. he loved opera, it was an acquired taste for me, but did acquire it.

There are temperament tests that might be useful such as Meyers/Briggs . At least it gives you some idea of what to expect from and how to deal with the other person.

Has anyone mentioned love on this thread?

My wife and I will be celebrating our fiftieth next month. She has an advanced degree, but had no problem stopping her professional career to raise our kids.

But what I am most grateful for is that she let me follow my dream. We packed up a Uhaul and left a nice home and job with two small kids in tow, relocating 1100 miles away to start a new business.

Fortunately, the business succeeded and we had a wonderful life. I am one lucky guy to have married this great gal.

Since you mention it, there is a new video making the rounds, Obama going ‘uh’ 140+x in one speech. It doesn’t take long to listen to, & it is very entertaining:

How many presidents do speak without prepared statements or teleprompters?

I wasn’t aware that public speaking ability was related to purported intelligence; rather, the maxim “empty vessels make the most noise” seems to ring true most of the time.

Sweetness is what makes a good wife. Intelligence helps, but sweetness is essential. Education, other than technical education, is a gender-independent downside these days.

Speaking coherently and organizing thoughts is related to intelligence. Most people use prepared statements but unless they are truly stupid they are not incapable of articulating even the most simple of points without one.

Just “making noise” is what Obama does. He either reads words that others have prepared for him or babbles incoherently like a total idiot.

That has been the experience of many of the single women that I know who have the positive attributes that most here are expounding. Guys just seem to “enjoy” and/or be more attracted to the needy, money-spending, pamper-demanding, over-emotional cry-at-the-drop-of-a-hat type -— perhaps because they are a challenge? If anyone can explain this to me, I would enjoy hearing the reasoning for this phenomenon.

Speaking coherently and organizing thoughts? That’s a skill rather than something inherent.

Tell her to check a different pond.

This latest generation isn’t too impressive, and frankly I think they have to be a lot pickier if they are going to locate a fellow adult.

“Speaking coherently and organizing thoughts? That’s a skill rather than something inherent.”

It is a basic skill that most people learn in grade school. Obama is not capable of acquiring this skill despite having attended the most exclusive private prep school in the State of Hawaii and elite colleges including Occidental, Columbia and Harvard. This indicates a low level of intelligence, a learning disorder or both.

Obama’s heavy drug use certainly did not make him smarter.

But the inability to complete simple cognitive and communicative tasks despite many years of exclusive, high level education is a strong indicator of a low IQ.
