Changed me.
I sincerely expected the black Americans on the jury to rise above tribal loyalties and convict a fellow black American of the crime of which he was so obviously guilty. Just as I would if on the jury for trial of a famous white American.
Silly me.
Nope. didn’t change me at all.
O.J. Simpson took us for a ride 20 years ago today and changed us forever
http://www.johnspeedie.com/healy/crap.wav
Now Obama’s taking us for a ride...
The woman he killed was Lady Liberty.
The only thing that O.J. changed was that he was no longer a choice for 5th graders to write their black history month essays on.
African-Americans have been poorly served by their informal cultural adoption of Point #8 of The Frankfurt School's 11 points "to make the West stink"…
1. The creation of racism offences.
2. Continual change to create confusion
3. The teaching of sex and homosexuality to children
4. The undermining of schools' and teachers' authority
5. Huge immigration to destroy identity.
6. The promotion of excessive drinking
7. Emptying of churches
8. AN UNRELIABLE LEGAL SYSTEM WITH BIASES AGAINST VICTIMS OF CRIMES
9. Dependency on the state or state benefits
10. Control and dumbing down of media
11. Encouraging the breakdown of the family
African-Americans already suffer some of the least adequate representation in the legal system.
By allying with the principal of the arbitrary deprivation of an innocent person's most basic right, the right to life--a European-American ("White") woman, Nicole Brown Simpson, who demonstrated her good will toward African-Americans by marrying OJ Simpson, but who had the wrong color skin--African Americans who casually supported Simpson's actions have furthered their own people's victimization.
I don’t want to hear anything more about O.J. Simpson unless it is news that he has died in prison.
One of the legacies of that event was that we now have the Kardashians.
If Obama had a father...
Sure pee’d me, and Mrs. RQSR off that day. We’d just left work in City of Carson after one ‘H’ of a bad day for the seventy mile trip home to Riverside, just up the on ramp, and onto the freeway, and there in our faces (we learned later) was that SOB.
We hadn’t a clue what was going on with all the cops, highway patrol, slow moving cars, throngs of people lining the freeway waving, etc.
Screwed up our already bad day even more.
We were discussing the possibility that Clinton was behind it in one of his notorious egotistical motorcades.
Finally found out what was going on when we turned on the car radio we rarely listened to.
So what and who cares?
One more psychotic thug finally ending up behind bars does nothing to change me.
taught me that people will lie even in the face of plain truth
bjclinton backed up that impression
if you associate with anyone on the left, don’t be surprised if they lie to you or steal anything you have
I am so tired of hearing about this murdering fool and the twenty year anniversary of his ever-so-temporary escape from justice. Vengeance is His. “There are spirits that are created for vengeance, and in their fury they lay on grievous torments.” Ecclesiasticus 39:33
That was a long long ride. I never saw a police chase that slow. During the Bronco chase there was plenty of time to order a pizza and back and to see it continue. The chase is over however the story continues to linger for some odd reason just like the Lizzie Borden Murders. It is not forgotten.
Changed me in a couple ways.
(1) As a lifelong football fan, I had no perception of O.J. as being “Black.”
Seeing the defense play the “Race Card” at the trial, and watching the jubilation of the Black community at the “Not Guilty” verdict shocked me at the time, and still shocks me today.
(2) Watching a real criminal trial on TV was a stunning educational event in my life.
I was completely fascinated and couldn’t turn it off.
In latter years, and after watching a few criminal trials on Court TV, I realized that every accused person presents exactly the same defense:
Namely - the police are incompetent, stupid, evil, malicious, etc.
Every crime lab is filthy, incompetent, evil, etc.
Every witness for the prosecution is a liar, confused, evil, etc.
On June 17, 1994, you, me and 95 million of our closest friends turned our heads away from the opening night of the City Stages music festival in Birmin
Must not be a joiner because NO I did not waste a second of my life watch that crap..
What happened to his hunger strike?
I remember it well, Mom and I watched the shenanigans and later trial on our 1982 Zenith (still in daily use). I can’t believe it has been this long.
