Correct-Malamutes and Huskies fight at the drop of a hat, and are not that friendly to other dogs. Aw, they're friendly enough, unless they are on their own turf... Quite often there can be a pissin match, like if I walk up on a camp... My dog and his dog will tussle a bit, might have to kick em apart a time or two, till they figure out they are supposed to play nice... But then, if something approaches the camp, they will work together against it... funny how that works...

I live on a couple of fenced acres, have a Husky who is a sweet baby, but she is leashed when outside if another dog is present ever since she attempted to eat a neighbor’s Yorkie, sweater and all, that wandered through a hole in the fence last winter.

Now see, I can't fault the dog in that condition - she is doing her job... It would be too bad for the Yorkie and all...

No fault of my Husky at all-she is 15 now, and has never cared for other dogs on her turf, especially little ones, but I do like my neighbor, so I grabbed the little dog out of harm’s way and returned it-that Yorkie hasn’t come through the fence since. My dog does love cats, though-she sleeps on the floor with “her” 3, and is friendly with neighbors’ cats...
