Dead broke? I've driven through lilly-white Chappaqua and drove by their house not long after they bought it.From my vantage point everything I saw that day screamed “one percent”...and that was even before I knew that Cappapaqua was about 1% minority.

Chappaqua is one of those “old money” towns. The prop taxes on their mansion has got to be at least $20k. Years ago while the limousine liberals who lived there pointed their fingers of self righteous indignation at the South over segregation, Jim Crow, etc. Blacks and Jews had less of a chance at joining their country clubs as the Jets have at winning a Super Bowl.
