I’m fascinated by the lovely grave goods but troubled at the thought of a person’s grave being dissected in this way.

No one had known the grave was there — not even the deceased — so I’m glad it was found and studied. A Neolithic miner preserved in a salt mine cavein a few thousand years ago was found in the 18th or 18th c, and wasn’t studied, just given a church burial.
