The Baby singer is apparently repenting his sins after apologizing for making racist remarks in old videos that leaked online.
He's been insufferable for a while and now Justin Bieber is apparently ready to be settled.
The pop star is turning to faith after the leaked video scandal that made him a mouthpiece for racist remarks. Bieber, 20, was baptized by Hillsong New York City pastor Carl Lentz last week, TMZ reports. He also spent a month beforehand doing "intense Bible study" with the celebrity-friendly pastor.
He was reportedly baptized in a hotel room to keep the whole thing private, according to the gossip site. The pop star (right) poses with Hillsong NYC pastor Carl Lentz. The singer reportedly got baptized after the leaked video scandal.

A video of the "Looking for You" singer surfaced online earlier this month showing him using the N-word in a racist joke. Another clip of Bieber with similar racist remarks came days later, forcing him to issue an apology for the "childish and inexcusable" behavior. The video was reportedly filmed when Bieber was 15.
"I'm very sorry," the "All That Matters" singer said in a statement.
"I take all my friendships with people of all cultures very seriously and I apologize for offending or hurting anyone with my childish and inexcusable behavior."
"What he was 5 years ago was a naive child who did not understand the negative power and degradation that comes from playing with racial slurs," Usher said in a statement of support.
"What he is now is a young man faced with an opportunity to become his best self, an example to the millions of kids that follow him to not make the same mistakes."
Bieber showed signs of cleaning up his act on Instagram. Most recently, he posted a photo indicating he's spending time with his family. Before that he posted an excerpt from a faith-based book featuring three Bible verses.
We will know them by their fruits. Let’s see what kind of life change he has. I pray it’s real.

oh please. what a joke.
did he piss in the baptismal font?
Sorry but I buy this as much as I believe bathhouse barry is a Christian, heterosexual and an American.
If only he had done that singing Rap, no apology would be needed.
I guess he and his posse are too young to realize that we’ve all seen this a hundred times before. Even Jane Fonda tried it one time, as I recall.
The 21st century equivalent of an “indulgence”, and therefore not a heartfelt gesture. This was a “liberal apology” i.e. an admission that he’s sorry he got caught doing something bad (not that he’s sorry he did it, just sorry someone found out), and thinks this will make everything “all better”, like buying “carbon credits” somehow magically erases a lib’s 21st-century lifestyle “excesses”.
They make the Unitarians seem evangelical
A lot quicker and less inconvenient than actually living one’s sins down.
I get the negative remarks, but like to think it’s possible for someone to escape the prison of fame and call on the name of The Lord.
Only if it works.
Get caught CURRENTLY doing drugs and sleeping with prostitutes...with no potential hit on record sales-no need for any change.
Old video comes out with racist jokes...with potential for lost record sales-got to find religion.
I feel sorry this young man’s family turned him over to bottom feeders in the music industry. Guess they sought wealth over decency like Miley Cyrus & her parents.
He's maybe not a pervert. Just a coward.
This seems kind of wrong, as a baptism is supposed to be an open profession of faith... I guess it had an audience of one, the pastor, but it’s better to have a group of people watching.
I don't get the negativity. It has to be possible, or the Bible and Christ are a lie.
People who say that Jesus can't or won't save someone else are doing themselves the ultimate wrong. Denying that his saving grace works for others means it won't won't for those who say He is wrong.
People have to cooperate, obviously, but the grace of Jesus is there for anyone who asks and accepts.
That was my first thought. Baptism is a public display of obedience to God, and a public display of one’s faith.
