I've been reading up on the El Niño at this site http://bobtisdale.wordpress.com/category/2014-15-el-nino-series/ After starting with the most recent post, I thought I should begin at the beginning, and it has been quite the education. It's enabled me to have a firmer grasp on what Joe Bastardi is talking about.

A Super Niño is supposed to be proof of global warming, as well as contributing to global warming. Sort of a “pox on all your houses” thing.

You are welcome. I subscribe to Bastardi's Twitter feed, and can almost tell from that what his Saturday Summary will be. I've never seen anyone tweet as much as he does. Some are just flat funny.

Again Joe explains how cherry picking, normalizing, and lack of proper modeling have intentionally misled the people

So Bastardi is saying this is what’s coming?

I personally think this whole warming thing is just a way to extract more money from and exert more control over us minions but that doesn’t mean there aren’t cycles of weather. It would be nice to have a prediction about the drought in CA.

He has stated that California will get rain in the fall and winter. If I can find that one, I will pass it along.
