yes! THAT Michael Hastings...and at the time some were asking (because his “accident”’occurred as he was racing to LAX in the wee morning hours I a tank of a Mercedes) “wonder what he was working on?’ If I recall, he left some really cryptic “I gotta go away for awhile” messages on one or two friends answering machines BEFORE that fateful drive.
I keep reading references to his article...but so far, no one questioning his accident. Just really odd and malevolent story.
