Yes, very sad. So called plus size models are what women looked like and were cherished 50 years ago. Marilyn Monroe would be plus sized by our standards. Non-plus models are essentially flag poles.

Im in agreement BUT - there are a couple of horses in that pic - you don’t get an ass like that eating bean curd and sprouts.....the one on the right has a clearly unhealthy appetite, and the resulting diabeetiss (Wilfred Brimley hat tip) high blood pressure and subsequent effects will substantially shorten her life.

That's an often repeated myth, but it's not true.
Marilyn Monroe was 5'5", 115lbs, 35-22-35.
Nina Agdal, one of the SI swimsuit cover models this year is 5/9", 121lbs, 34-23-35.
They are effectively the same proportions, except that Agdal is 7% taller and 6% heavier.
