Who knew “flak” was an acronym? I just saw this on a History channel show about words that derived from our wars.
ugh. Hope there is no flak in my coffee.
Speakin’ of witch, the book “The Wrong Stuff” about the sometimes sobering, always very entertaining, sometimes hillarious mis-adventures of the 8th Air Force against flak in WWII is something hillary would NOT found interesting at all.
I am off to my pre-op tests to get cleared for surgery. I hope I take no flak and pass with flying colors.

Col. David Hunt on OReilly last night, said that Bergdahl called his former platoon the day after he left, SAYING that he had deserted. Hunt acted like it was beyond question. I had not seen that anywhere before, in what i have read.

well i don’t think we will have to wait that long to know about the Caps. The fact that they are not cutting Brooks Laich loose from his $6mil K, when he probably cannot even pass a physical, really sounds like they do NOT want to blow up this team but rather as McPhee was always saying, “we like our team.” I am afraid this is putting all of the pressure on Barry to produce, and while i know he is an excellent coach, he is not a miracle worker and he has no say-so over personnel, but can only work with that which is on his roster. It is very disappointing. This news today is demoralizing a lot of fans. Ted Leonsis is a control freak and does not want the team blown up, and hired a GM who will abide by his wishes.
Everyone is getting BENt out of shape about it.
Speaking of WWII, have you seen the movie, “Monuments Men”? Oh my, it was such a reminder of the evil mind of hitler....
