Thank you, Mary...Although my link focuses on that long trip to Mexico for overwintering..some Monarchs also overwinter in Califoria..I lived 10 minutes from a site in California near Goleta.
.It was awesome to see the butterfly trees..a Eucalyptus grove covered in Monarchs..It was like being in a Cathedral..We whispered. I was able to take 3 of my young grandchildren there with my son and DIL when they visited at Christmas one year.
