Recently I was on a back road in central Virginia and everyone got pulled over by the cops. They were checking for expired stickers or whatever. Very nasty guys. I asked the young one if he felt ok doing this to his fellow citizens and he said yes. I’m lucky they didn’t invent something to charge me with.

As for the cops, I noticed even 15 years ago that they were morphing into jack-booted thugs.
I do not know if it is from TV and movies, or what, but today it is mostly cops in swat gear yelling “get on the ground, get on the ground NOW.” There are very few “good old boys” on the beat today.

I love the Commonwealth, but much of our LEO is all about rai$ing revenue.

There is a reason why we are the only state that does not allow radar detectors.
