The World at War is by far the best WWII documentary ever made. I think its time for TWaW to be updated though. There is a lot of new information that has come to light about WWII that has been declassified and made public that was not known when TWaW was produced. Episodes should be updated to reflect this new info and what it meant for the conduct of the war and the effect it had on WWII’s outcome.

There is plenty of new info and new analysis of the D-Day landings at Omaha, the Bletchley Park code breaking operation, Operation Bodyguard and other operations and aspects of WWII to justify an update.

I do know they did some updated episodes of TWaW in the 80s with a different narrator.
