I can see what you mean because their show on the ku klux klan doesn’t point out that it is a democrat organization. Also, the History Channel lacked the cojones to put on a biography of President Kennedy, leaving the A & E channel to put it on to much critical acclaim.

I gave up on it when they began spouting Soviet propaganda by saying the Bolsheviks under Lenin stormed the Winter Palace and deposed Czar Nicholas II. Nicholas had been deposed months earlier and the Bolsheviks actually staged a successful coup d' tat against a provisional government led by Alexander Kerensky. The Czar had no power at the time and the Bolsheviks were not proto-democrats overthrowing a sclerotic authoritarian regime. They were, however, murderous thugs.
