I'll tell you right now what doesn't work. The national Do Not Call registry doesn't work. I'm registered there, and I've reported those robo calls. Doesn't make any difference at all.

My phone service (Verizon) also has a number-block system. That doesn't work either. I suspect that's because the robo companies keep changing their phone numbers.

I have put us on the Do Not Call list 3 times and it has not worked. The calls come from all over the country and we have friends and family in many different area codes. If I am not sure I answer and don't say anything if a real person is on the other end they will say hello. If it is a robo call I will hear a click.
